Back-office Linux Box I

The machine to the left is used

as a restaurant back-office

system supporting the office

machine as well as 3 x POS

units and EFTPOS terminals.

It was suffering random and

sudden shutdowns which turned

out to be CPU 'over-temperature'

shutdowns.

The chronic dust build-up had

blocked all air vents preventing

the fans from regulating the

CPU temperature.
